St. Albert Rotary Club:

Rotary Scholarship Recognition Award

Criteria:

  • Amount: $1000 **Note: funds are paid directly to the student’s post-secondary institution
  • For a student pursuing post-secondary education. 
  • A minimum of 65% general overall average.
  • The student must have been actively involved in volunteer service either in school or in the community.
  • Applications submitted to your school

Rotary Service Above Self Scholarship Award

Criteria:

  • Amount: $250, Note: funds are paid directly to the individual.
  • For a student(s) in Grade 10, 11, or 12.
  • Demonstrated community service.
  • Applications submitted to your school

Stephen Barr Memorial Scholarship Award

Criteria:

  • Amount: $1000. Note: funds are paid directly to the student’s post secondary institution.
  • For a student who completed the Alberta Education Art 30 curriculum and is applying to a post-secondary program in either visual arts or architecture.
  • The student must have been actively involved in volunteer service either in school or in the community.
  • Applications submitted to the Rotary Club

Grants

Edmonton Community Foundation's (ECF) Young Edmonton Grants (YEG) program provides local youth with funding to turn their ideas into reality.

Since 2011 Edmonton Community Foundation has granted over $585,000 in support of 270 youth-initiated projects in the Greater Edmonton Area!

Successful Applications will be:

  • Awarded grants between $500-$3,000
  • Initiated and organized by Edmonton and area residents ages 13 to 24
  • Partnered with a registered Canada Revenue Agency charity (includes schools)
