The School Council at SGEC is a structured group of parents, school administration, teachers, students, and community representatives who work together to effectively support and enhance student learning. They provide a method for members of the school community to consult with and offer advice to the principal regarding school operations. Our school council's work includes:
- focus on what is best for all students in the school
- the consideration of the interests of all school stakeholders
- development, maintenance and reflection of the culture of the school
- a representation of the parent and community voice in the school community
All parents and students are welcome to attend our school council meetings. Our first meeting will be September 14, 2021 via Google Meet. Agendas and minutes from our meetings will be posted on our website.
