On Friday, November 20th, we hosted the virtual Re-Opening Celebration and Blessing of St. Gabriel Education Centre (formerly St. Gabriel High School), which opened its new space to students at the start of this school year.
The formal program included the Liturgy of the Word and a Prayer of Blessing from Fr. Ignacy Warias, OMI (St. Albert Catholic Parish); remarks from Mayor Cathy Heron (City of ST. Albert), division leadership, and from Principal Holstein. We also shared a short video about the school. Our very own Maggie Slessor and her mother also shared some inspiring and touching comments about what the school means to them.
